Insurance Coverage Attorney

A law firm seeks a qualified Insurance Coverage Attorney to join its team in Los Angeles or Torrance, CA. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in insurance coverage, including both advisory and litigation roles, particularly in general liability and professional lines. This position offers the chance to work with a dynamic and expanding firm with a national presence.

Duties

• Interpret insurance policies and draft comprehensive coverage opinions.
• Handle litigation related to insurance coverage matters, including general liability and professional liability cases.
• Provide legal advice and support to clients regarding their insurance coverage issues.
• Collaborate with colleagues on complex insurance-related cases and strategies.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active admission to the California Bar.
• Significant experience in insurance coverage law, particularly with general liability, professional liability (E&O), directors & officers, employment practices liability, and cyber insurance policies.
• Strong academic credentials along with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited institution.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in California.
