Location:

• Eau Claire, WI

Duties:

• Counsel clients on intellectual property protection and strategy

• Draft and prosecute patent and trademark applications

• Conduct IP due diligence and manage portfolios

• Handle IP licensing and transactional matters

• Provide legal advice on general corporate and business issues

• Collaborate with clients to address compliance and risk management concerns

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in intellectual property law

• Experience with trademark and patent matters

• Willingness and ability to provide corporate legal counsel

• Familiarity with IP litigation, though not required, is a plus

• Prior law firm experience preferred

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the Wisconsin State Bar (in good standing)

• USPTO registration preferred for patent-related work

Skills:

• Strong legal research, analytical, and drafting skills

• Ability to manage a varied IP caseload
