Duties

  • Manage a caseload of Social Security Disability claims from initial application through appeals

  • Conduct client interviews to collect detailed case information

  • Review medical records and supporting documents to evaluate claim eligibility

  • Prepare and file legal documents including applications, appeals, and briefs

  • Represent clients at administrative hearings and, when applicable, in federal court

  • Maintain consistent communication with clients, agencies, and medical professionals

  • Stay current on laws, procedures, and regulatory changes affecting Social Security Disability claims

Requirements

  • Strong interest in advocacy for individuals with disabilities

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and empathy for client concerns

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Active bar license in good standing from any U.S. state (required)
