Location

Duties

• Manage a caseload of insurance defense matters related to toxic tort and asbestos exposure

• Draft pleadings, motions, and legal briefs with precision and strategic intent

• Represent clients in depositions, mediations, and court proceedings

• Review and analyze complex medical records and technical reports

• Provide legal advice and counsel to insurers and corporate clients

• Develop case strategies in collaboration with colleagues

• Maintain current knowledge of legal developments in insurance defense and environmental litigation

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

• Admission to the Louisiana State Bar and in good standing

• Minimum of 5 years’ litigation experience preferred

• Experience in toxic tort, asbestos, or insurance defense litigation (preferred but not required)

• Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently

• High ethical standards and professionalism

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in the state of Louisiana
