Mid-Level Commercial Litigation Associate

A dynamic full-service boutique law firm in the Houston area is seeking a mid-level Commercial Litigation Associate to join its litigation team. Location:

• Houston, Texas

Duties:

• Represent clients in a wide array of commercial disputes including breach of contract, construction, partnership, investment, and regulatory matters

• Draft legal pleadings, discovery requests/responses, and complex motions

• Conduct legal research and prepare written memoranda and briefs

• Handle depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial preparation

• Advise corporate and municipal clients on litigation strategy and legal exposure

• Manage cases from initial investigation through resolution with appropriate autonomy

• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver consistent, results-oriented representation

Requirements:

• 5–7 years of experience in complex commercial litigation

• Demonstrated ability to manage caseloads with minimal supervision

• Strong legal writing and analytical skills

• Willingness to work in-office with occasional flexibility

• Interest in a results-driven, lower-billable-hour environment

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active license and in good standing with the Texas State Bar
