Job Overview
A law firm seeks an associate attorney with over 8 years of multi-party litigation experience to join their expanding team in Downtown Houston, Texas. The ideal candidate will have experience in one or more of the following areas: general liability, personal injury and wrongful death, construction defect, premises liability, trucking and commercial transportation, class action, toxic tort, and/or maritime law.

Duties

  • Represent clients in multi-party litigation cases.
  • Conduct legal research and draft legal documents.
  • Collaborate with team members on case strategy and development.
  • Attend court hearings and trials as required.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and opposing counsel.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in multi-party litigation.
  • Proficiency in one or more specified practice areas.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in the state of Texas.
