Duties

  • Manage an independent caseload of New Jersey workers' compensation defense files

  • Represent employers and insurance carriers during court hearings

  • Conduct depositions and draft legal pleadings

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to advance case outcomes

  • Communicate effectively and professionally with clients

  • Collaborate closely with a supportive legal team

  • Maintain accurate timekeeping and meet all deadlines and court requirements

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of New Jersey workers' compensation defense experience

  • Strong courtroom presence and litigation skills

  • Ability to manage caseload independently while collaborating with a team

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications
