Job Overview:
A leading family law firm in the Denver Metropolitan Area is seeking a passionate and experienced Family Law Attorney to join its collaborative and client-focused team. Location:

  • Denver, CO

Duties:

  • Manage family law cases from start to finish, including divorce, child custody, and support matters

  • Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements

  • Conduct discovery, attend court hearings, and participate in mediations and trials

  • Collaborate with clients to develop legal strategies and provide compassionate guidance

  • Maintain clear and timely communication with clients and colleagues

  • Participate in networking, pro bono initiatives, and professional development activities

  • Work with senior attorneys on complex or high-profile family law matters

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of family law experience, preferably in private practice

  • Active license to practice law in Colorado (or pending)

  • No current or pending grievances or malpractice claims

  • Strong client service skills and a desire to positively impact clients’ lives

  • Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple deadlines

  • Collaborative mindset with an interest in mentoring and teamwork

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active and in good standing with the Colorado State Bar

Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication

  • High emotional intelligence and empathy

  • Litigation experience in family law settings

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Ability to manage and prioritize caseload efficiently

  • Comfortable with client advocacy and courtroom presence
