Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Medical Liability Litigation Associate Attorney to join its team in Covington, KY. This role involves working on healthcare litigation and medical liability cases, offering a hybrid working model and comprehensive benefits. Duties

  • Draft pleadings and discovery documents.
  • Work with clients to prepare discovery responses.
  • Prepare and argue motions.
  • Conduct legal research and writing.
  • Participate in depositions.
  • Assist with trial preparation and trial.
  • Manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Independently manage cases.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Excellent drafting, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong verbal and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Outstanding academic records and litigation experience, preferably in healthcare or medical liability/malpractice.
  • 1-7 years of experience practicing as an associate attorney.
  • Must be licensed to practice law in Kentucky and/or Ohio.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in Kentucky and/or Ohio.
