Job Overview: A law firm is seeking a skilled Litigation Attorney with personal injury experience to join its growing team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in all phases of plaintiff's personal injury litigation and be ready to handle case management, client intake, and litigation when necessary. The firm values strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a high-pressure environment.

Location:

  • Denver, CO

Duties:

  • Conduct telephone and in-person client intakes with strong communication skills.
  • Manage cases, including monitoring and supporting client compliance with treatment.
  • Review medical and billing records critically to ensure accuracy.
  • Handle pre-litigation management and proceed to litigation when necessary.
  • Represent clients in all phases of plaintiff’s personal injury litigation.
  • Negotiate settlements and represent clients in court when required.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Colorado plaintiff’s personal injury practice.
  • Proven track record of settlements and verdicts.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze legal issues and interpret laws, rules, and regulations.
  • Knowledge of the laws and rules governing civil practice in Colorado.
  • Ability to organize and present factual and legal data clearly.
  • High degree of initiative, mature judgment, and discretion.
  • Ability to handle sensitive matters confidentially and with empathy.
  • Strong negotiation and dispute resolution skills.
  • Ability to work in a high-volume, high-pressure environment.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in the state of Colorado (Colorado Bar).

Skills:

  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of trial and hearing procedures.
  • Ability to resolve conflicts and empathize with clients.
  • Fluency in Spanish or Russian is a plus.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to learn quickly.
  • Ability to manage complex issues in personal injury law.
