Job Overview:

A law firm is seeking a Junior Litigation Attorney to join a growing team focused on Employment Law and Personal Injury. This position will initially be remote, with the opportunity to transition to an in-person role in Canton, OH. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing high-quality legal services while thriving in a collaborative and growth-driven environment. Travel within Ohio will be required to support clients statewide.

Location:

  • Canton, OH

Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel and representation in employment law and personal injury cases

  • Manage cases from start to finish, ensuring thorough attention to detail and expertise

  • Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests

  • Negotiate settlements and represent clients in court as necessary

  • Collaborate with the senior litigation team on various case-related tasks and proceedings

  • Promote core values of compassion, teamwork, and growth

  • Travel statewide within Ohio as needed to support client needs

Requirements:

  • Licensed to practice law in Ohio (Required)

  • Additional licensure in West Virginia or willingness to obtain (Preferred)

  • Keenan Trial Institute training (Preferred)

  • Strong interest and experience in Employment Law and Personal Injury

  • Ability to work independently while being an effective team player

  • Excellent communication, writing, and negotiation skills

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Growth-oriented mindset with a positive attitude

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Bar admission in Ohio (Required)

  • Bar admission in West Virginia (Preferred or willingness to obtain)
