Job Overview

A law firm seeks a highly motivated and qualified associate with three to seven years of experience to join its Energy, Environmental, and Infrastructure practice in Kansas City, MO. The ideal candidate will have a background in managing complex energy and natural resources transactional work within a sophisticated law firm environment.

Duties

  • Manage complex energy and natural resources transactional work, including M&A and project development.
  • Handle renewable energy transactions, such as joint ventures and commercial agreements.
  • Engage in engineering, procurement, and construction contracts for renewable energy facilities.
  • Participate in financing transactions within the energy and natural resources sector.
  • Contribute to oil and gas projects as needed.

Requirements

  • Experience in a sophisticated law firm environment.
  • Proficiency in managing complex energy and natural resources transactions.
  • Experience with renewable energy transactional work.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and work ethic.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and assume responsibility.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
