Job Overview

A law firm seeks a highly qualified Fund Services Senior Counsel in New York. The ideal candidate will have over eight years of experience in fund formation, working with sponsors on structuring, formation, and operation of investment funds. Expertise in legal, regulatory, and compliance matters, particularly with the Securities Act, Exchange Act, Investment Company Act, and Investment Advisers Act, is essential.

Duties

• Lead and deepen the fund services practice.
• Advise clients on legal, regulatory, and compliance matters.
• Represent investors in private investment funds.
• Guide clients through all stages of the fund life cycle.

Requirements

• 8+ years of fund formation experience.
• Experience at a national or international law firm.
• Superior academic credentials.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice law in New York.

Skills

• Strong leadership and client management skills.
