Job Overview:

A law firm is seeking a self-motivated and business-minded Civil Litigation Attorney to join its team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated track record of success in the courtroom and experience managing an active litigation caseload from inception to completion. Duties:

  • Manage an active litigation caseload from start to finish, including drafting pleadings, briefs, motions, and other litigation documents.
  • Conduct in-depth legal research, analysis, and writing with a focus on high-quality results.
  • Develop and nurture client relationships while maintaining confidentiality and discretion.
  • Collaborate and foster teamwork with colleagues and clients at all levels.
  • Provide exceptional written and verbal communication in all legal matters.
  • Work closely with the team to ensure successful case outcomes.

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of experience in civil litigation.
  • Proven ability to manage a litigation caseload from inception to completion.
  • Strong legal research, analysis, and writing skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build client relationships and grow business.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attorneys admitted to practice in the State of Wisconsin.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school (Preferred).

Certifications:

  • Admitted to practice law in the State of Wisconsin.

Skills:

  • Excellent legal research and writing abilities.
  • Strong litigation skills and courtroom experience.
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
  • Business development and client relationship management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
