A law firm based in Milwaukee is seeking a talented Civil Litigation Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will bring experience in civil litigation, complemented by an excellent academic background and strong communication skills. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of cases in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Duties:

  • Handle all phases of civil litigation cases, from initial investigation through trial.
  • Draft, review, and file legal documents, including complaints, motions, and briefs.
  • Conduct discovery, including depositions, interrogatories, and requests for production of documents.
  • Represent clients in court hearings, trials, and mediations.
  • Develop case strategies and advise clients on legal options and potential outcomes.
  • Manage case files and maintain accurate records of case progress.
  • Collaborate with clients, experts, and other legal professionals as needed.

Requirements:

  • Experience in civil litigation is preferred.
  • Excellent academic background with a strong track record in legal studies.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage a caseload efficiently and effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in the state of Wisconsin.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in drafting and reviewing legal documents.
  • Skilled in conducting legal research and preparing case strategies.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Experience in managing complex cases and interacting with clients and court personnel.
