Job Overview:
A prominent law firm located in Austin, TX, is seeking a detail-oriented and driven Associate Attorney to join their team. This position offers the opportunity to work in the dynamic field of insurance law, handling both first-party and third-party claims across state and federal courts. The role provides flexibility with a hybrid work environment, balancing in-office presence with the ability to work.

Duties:

  • Conduct legal research and draft clear, concise legal documents.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of legal strategies for insurance-related cases.
  • Manage case files and communicate with clients to provide updates and gather necessary information.
  • Participate in the preparation for litigation, including drafting motions, pleadings, and discovery requests.
  • Represent clients in negotiations and work towards favorable resolutions.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to prepare cases for trial, including legal research and evidence gathering.
  • Manage a caseload with efficiency and attention to detail while adhering to deadlines.

Requirements:

  • Strong legal research and writing capabilities.
  • Experience or interest in insurance law or related legal fields.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and manage client relationships.
  • Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Capability to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Must be admitted to practice law in Texas (preferred).
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Education:
