Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Senior Attorney for their Employment Class Action department in California. The role involves advocating for clients in cases of employee misclassification, overtime wage violations, and other worker rights issues.

Duties

  • Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Develop strategies to resolve cases favorably and cost-effectively for clients.
  • Take and defend depositions.

Requirements

  • Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Employment Class Action.

  • Ability to exercise common sense in complex situations.
  • Adaptable and meticulous attention to detail.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
