A law firm seeks a dedicated Labor and Employment Attorney to join their team in San Diego, CA. The attorney will handle cases related to unlawful discrimination, employee misconduct, retaliation, sexual harassment, and Title IX, with a focus on public entity representation.

Duties

• Advise public agency clients on personnel matters including hiring, discipline, and termination.
• Handle matters related to discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and employee leave laws.
• Represent clients in administrative hearings, grievance arbitrations, and collective bargaining negotiations.
• Assist clients with labor compliance, policy development, and internal investigations.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar of California and in good standing.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Strong interest in working with public agencies or school districts.
• Knowledge of California labor and employment laws.
