Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Labor and Employment Associate for its San Diego, CA office. This full-time position involves handling single-plaintiff employment litigation and class action/PAGA cases, with a hybrid work schedule.

Duties

• Draft pleadings, workplace policies, and discovery documents.
• Draft and argue motions; conduct administrative hearings.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Conduct employee training sessions.
• Provide day-to-day advice and counseling to employers.

Requirements

• At least three years of labor and employment litigation experience.
• Licensed to practice law in California or eligible for admission without examination.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• California State Bar license or eligibility for admission without examination.
