Associate Attorney needed for West Palm Beach office

Location:

• West Palm Beach, Florida

Duties:

• Manage cases from inception through resolution

• Attend and participate in hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials

• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and other litigation documents

• Communicate case updates and litigation strategy to insurance carriers and clients

• Maintain organized case files and prioritize workload based on deadlines

• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure timely progress on case matters

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience, with preference for first-party property insurance experience

• Licensed to practice law in Florida (active and in good standing)

• Demonstrated ability to manage litigation deadlines and client communication

• Professionalism and effective interpersonal communication skills

• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented legal environment

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school

Certifications:

• Active Florida Bar license (required)

Skills:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills

• Ability to interact professionally with court staff, clients, and opposing counsel

• Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel

• Experience with ProLaw and NetDocs (preferred, not required)

• Ability to delegate tasks and manage caseload priorities efficiently
