Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Senior Associate Attorney to join their Auto Replevin Department in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with the Managing Partner, fellow attorneys, and a dedicated support team in a dynamic, high-volume practice. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership capabilities, excellent litigation skills, and the ability to manage cases through all stages of the Impound, Collection, and Auto Replevin process.

Duties

  • Communicate effectively with clients.
  • Attend conferences and hearings.
  • Conduct depositions.
  • Negotiate favorable settlements.

Requirements

  • Active member in good standing with the Florida Bar.
  • 10+ years of litigation experience, preferably in collections, replevin, or related areas.
  • Experience in hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.
  • Ability to mentor and guide associate attorneys and support staff.
  • Strong professional presence and exceptional work ethic.
  • Commitment to client service and responsiveness.
  • Ability to contribute to practice growth and support business development.
  • Active participation in relevant professional organizations.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to foster positive working relationships.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage a high-volume caseload.
  • Personable and engaging demeanor with comfort interacting with clients.
  • Highly effective negotiation skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in Florida.
