Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced Senior Construction Litigation Associate to join its Construction Law & Litigation group in Florida, ideally located in the Orlando office, but open to other Florida locations. This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic team in a growing office.

Duties

  • Manage complex construction litigation cases from inception to resolution.
  • Conduct claims analysis and risk management for large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Engage in procurement, contracting, and claims processes.
  • Participate in various dispute resolution methods, including mediation and arbitration.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of commercial or construction litigation experience.
  • Proven ability to handle complex cases through all dispute resolution forms.
  • Experience with dispositive motion practice and court hearings.
  • Admitted to and in good standing with the Florida Bar.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Florida Bar admission.

Skills

  • Strong analytical skills to apply case and statutory law to complex fact patterns.
  • Effective deposition skills, including taking and defending key fact and expert witnesses.
  • Practical approach to litigation with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
