Job Overview

A regional law firm is seeking a full-time Associate Attorney with experience in general business law and/or estate planning to join its Lancaster, Pennsylvania office. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, organized legal professional who thrives in a high-volume practice environment. Candidates with a portable book of business are strongly encouraged to apply and may receive schedule and compensation flexibility based on experience and client base.

Location

  • Lancaster, Pennsylvania

Duties

  • Provide legal counsel on general business matters, including entity formation, contract drafting, and regulatory compliance

  • Advise clients on estate planning strategies, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney

  • Draft and review legal documents related to business transactions and estate planning instruments

  • Conduct client consultations and manage ongoing client relationships

  • Collaborate with other attorneys within the firm on multidisciplinary matters

  • Maintain accurate case records and meet all applicable deadlines

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in general business or estate planning law

  • Ability to manage a high-volume caseload efficiently and accurately

  • Portable book of business preferred but not required

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

  • Active license to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania

Skills
