Litigation Attorney

A law firm seeks a Litigation Attorney in Westfield, New Jersey, to manage defense matters through all stages of litigation.

Duties

• Conduct comprehensive legal research and prepare case evaluations, motions, and briefs.

• Oversee discovery processes, take and defend depositions, and participate in court conferences.

• Draft summaries and status reports on case developments.

• Collaborate with colleagues to formulate a litigation strategy and ensure effective case management.

Requirements

• Active membership in the New Jersey Bar with a J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.

• Minimum of three years of experience in defense litigation.

• Exceptional legal writing and analytical abilities.

• Capacity to prioritize tasks and adhere to firm deadlines.

Education

• Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership in the New Jersey Bar.
