Data Privacy and Technology Litigation Attorney

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a senior-level attorney to join its litigation team in Los Angeles, California. The ideal candidate will have over six years of litigation experience and hold an active California Bar license.

Duties

• Defend data breach class actions, privacy torts, and statutory claims.
• Engage in trial preparation and courtroom activities, including motion practice and depositions.
• Conduct research and draft legal documents with exceptional advocacy skills.
• Negotiate settlements and communicate effectively with clients and team members.

Requirements

• 6+ years of litigation practice experience.
• Active California Bar license.
• Familiarity with state, federal, and international data privacy laws, including CCPA/GDPR.
• Experience with pixel tracking and wiretap cases preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• California Bar license.
