Duties:

  • Manage a diverse caseload in areas such as medical malpractice, public entity defense, and general liability

  • Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and legal correspondence

  • Analyze medical, employment, and expert records in support of litigation strategy

  • Handle court appearances, depositions, mediations, and client meetings

  • Communicate case updates and strategic advice to clients in a timely manner

  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff to advance litigation goals

  • Maintain accurate time records and meet internal billing requirements

Requirements:

  • 3–5 years of experience in insurance defense, civil litigation, or related practice areas

  • Proven ability to manage an independent caseload

  • Strong litigation experience, including depositions and court appearances

  • Excellent communication and client management skills

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. full-time

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active member in good standing with the California State Bar

Skills:

  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical abilities

  • Experience reviewing complex medical and employment records

  • Ability to multitask and handle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
