Job Overview:
A prominent law firm in Southpointe, PA is seeking an experienced Estates and Trusts Associate Attorney to support its growing Estates and Trusts practice. The ideal candidate will possess between two and five years of experience in estate planning, probate, and trust administration. This position offers a collaborative environment and the opportunity to work on a wide range of estate-related matters while building lasting client relationships.

Location:

  • Canonsburg, PA

Duties:

  • Manage administration of trusts and estates from start to finish

  • Draft estate planning documents including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives

  • Prepare and review probate and trust administration filings and related legal documentation

  • Conduct legal research related to probate, tax, and estate planning issues

  • Review estate documents prepared by internal attorneys and paralegals

  • Interface professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel

  • Participate in networking and business development initiatives

  • Collaborate with peers and contribute to a team-based legal environment

Requirements:

  • 2–5 years of experience in estate planning and trust/estate administration

  • Excellent legal writing, communication, and research skills

  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive client matters with professionalism

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines independently

  • Commitment to providing high-quality legal services

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active license to practice law in the state of Pennsylvania

Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Skilled in using legal research tools such as Westlaw and LexisNexis

  • Strong drafting and analytical skills
