Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid-senior level associate to join its Health Care Practice Group in Tampa, Florida. The role involves working with physician practices, telemedicine companies, and various health care entities, as well as venture and private equity investors in the health care and life sciences sectors.

Duties

• Represent health care-focused clients in regulatory and transactional matters.
• Draft sophisticated legal documents and manage complex projects.
• Train and mentor junior associates.
• Engage directly with senior partners and clients.

Requirements

• 4-6 years of health care regulatory and transactional experience (up to 8 years considered).
• Strong knowledge of federal and state health care regulations.
• AmLaw 100 experience preferred.
• Excellent academic credentials and communication skills.
• Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.

Education

• JD from an ABA-approved law school.

Certifications

• Active member of the Bar in the jurisdiction(s) of practice.
• Timely admission to the Florida Bar required.
