Job Title: Partner-Level Attorney

Job Overview:

A Tampa-based law firm is looking to onboard seasoned legal talent at the partner level to lead and expand its Healthcare law practice. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience, a proactive client-service approach, and a solid understanding of the healthcare legal landscape. This role offers the opportunity to shape strategic direction and work collaboratively with professionals across the firm's Florida offices.

Duties:

  • Lead client engagements in healthcare-related legal matters, including compliance, regulatory guidance, and transactional support

  • Advise on matters involving federal and state healthcare laws and industry regulations

  • Collaborate with internal teams and co-counsel to deliver high-level strategic legal advice

  • Mentor and supervise junior attorneys and support staff

  • Support business development through client outreach and participation in professional networks

  • Contribute to practice group management and firm leadership initiatives

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in healthcare law, preferably in private practice or a similar setting

  • Demonstrated ability to attract and manage client relationships

  • Strong leadership qualities and proven ability to work independently and within teams

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active membership in good standing with any U.S. State Bar

  • Florida Bar membership preferred or willingness to obtain Florida Bar admission

Skills:

  • Deep knowledge of healthcare regulatory frameworks, including HIPAA, Stark Law, and Anti-Kickback Statute

  • Strong business acumen and client management abilities

  • Spanish language proficiency preferred

  • Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
