• Draft, review, and revise legal documents including pleadings, motions, and briefs

• Conduct depositions, attend court hearings, and represent clients at mediations

• Develop and implement legal strategies through thorough legal research and analysis

• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to drive favorable outcomes

• Stay up to date with insurance law developments and regulatory trends

Requirements:

• 5–10 years of experience in insurance defense litigation

• Demonstrated expertise in handling complex insurance-related legal issues

• Experience representing insurers and reinsurers in both first- and third-party matters

• Proven ability to manage a full caseload independently

• Familiarity with Louisiana court procedures and insurance regulatory environment

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active member in good standing with the Louisiana State Bar
