Job Overview

A law firm seeks a non-partner track Real Estate Attorney to join their team in Saint Louis. Duties

  • Provide expert legal and strategic advice on real estate aspects in bond and lease financings.

  • Prepare and negotiate real estate documents such as purchase agreements and leases.
  • Advise on land use regulations, zoning approvals, and permitting processes.
  • Provide counsel on property acquisition strategies, including eminent domain proceedings.
  • Collaborate on real estate components of complex public-private partnership projects.
  • Identify and resolve real estate issues during public finance transactions.

Requirements

  • J.D. with excellent academic credentials.
  • 5-7 years practicing real estate law, preferably in commercial real estate or public sector.
  • Strong understanding of real estate principles, laws, and regulations.
  • Superior oral and written communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to excellence.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.

Certifications

  • Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.

Skills

  • Independent, action-oriented thinker with minimal supervision required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
