A law firm seeks an eDiscovery Attorney in Newport Beach, CA. This position offers flexibility with a full-time schedule and the option for a reduced schedule of no less than 75%. The role involves working under Senior Counsel in E-Discovery, primarily supporting Securities Litigation, Enforcement, and White Collar Defense, with some Commercial Litigation tasks. The firm is open to training candidates interested in investigations and document review, emphasizing strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Duties

  • Review, analyze, summarize, and code large document productions, including privilege analyses.
  • Draft privilege and redaction logs.
  • Collaborate with teams to manage eDiscovery processes throughout the litigation lifecycle.
  • Utilize analytical tools to evaluate content for relevance cost-effectively.
  • Identify and select documents critical to advancing client-related issues.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar.
  • Proficiency in Relativity and ability to develop keyword searches.
  • Experience in reviewing, analyzing, summarizing, and coding large document productions.
  • Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented.
  • Working knowledge of electronic data collection, processing, and productions is helpful.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar.
