Duties:

• Handle civil litigation cases, including defense and plaintiff insurance subrogation.
• Take depositions and prepare and argue motions.
• Conduct inspections of defective parts and machines.
• Analyze evidence and collaborate on litigation strategies with senior attorneys.
• Manage trials and appeals independently.
• Draft research articles for client newsletters.
• Deliver educational presentations to clients and participate in client-focused activities.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to team development.
• Develop expertise in evolving legal landscapes.

Requirements:

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex legal issues critically.
• Proficiency in managing multiple cases and deadlines efficiently.
• Experience with negotiating favorable settlements.
• High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Leadership ability to inspire and manage support staff and paralegals.

Education:

• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in Missouri.
