A law firm seeks a Senior Litigation Associate Attorney in Kansas City with a minimum of three years of experience, preferably in civil litigation. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional research, writing, and interpersonal skills to manage high exposure, complex civil litigation matters from inception to resolution, including appeals.

Duties

• Develop and implement effective legal strategies.
• Conduct legal research and prepare pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Manage the discovery process and appear for depositions, mediations, and arbitrations.
• Argue motions in court and handle additional tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in Missouri.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, advocacy, and interpersonal skills.
• Prior courtroom experience, preferably in civil litigation.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
