Job Overview

A law firm seeks an experienced E Discovery Attorney in Minneapolis, MN. The ideal candidate will work closely with teams to guide and advise on eDiscovery and Information Governance issues, managing complex litigations and investigations.

Duties

  • Manage eDiscovery in complex and global litigations and investigations.
  • Develop workflows for eDiscovery review platforms and incorporate data analytics tools.
  • Advise stakeholders on eDiscovery issues and strategies.
  • Support case teams on eDiscovery-related negotiations and motion practice.
  • Assist clients with updating internal eDiscovery workflows.
  • Identify and escalate improvements to eDiscovery policies and procedures.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on eDiscovery topics.
  • Implement custom workflows to reduce client costs and enhance speed-to-evidence.
  • Create and refine standard documentation, including ESI protocols and review workflows.

Requirements

  • JD required.
  • Admission to the Bar (any state).
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience managing eDiscovery in complex litigations and investigations.
  • Strong understanding of current eDiscovery law and technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with eDiscovery platforms (e.g., Relativity, Everlaw).
  • Familiarity with data and document processing procedures in eDiscovery.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and achieve goals.
  • Proactive in identifying and executing continuous improvements in policies and processes.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

  • Admission to the Bar (any state).

Skills

  • Strong communication and advisory skills.
  • Proficiency in eDiscovery platforms and data analytics tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
