Job Overview

A law firm seeks a midlevel Real Estate Associate to join its New York office. The successful candidate will engage in a diverse range of complex real estate transactions, working with governmental, quasi-governmental, and private entities. This role offers the opportunity to develop expertise across various practice areas, including development, construction, land use, and real estate private equity.

Duties

• Engage in purchase and sale transactions, leasing, and mortgage loans.
• Conduct title and survey reviews and draft legal documents.
• Perform legal research and manage closings.
• Collaborate with a team to provide bespoke transactional solutions.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in real estate law.
• Experience in more than one practice area, such as acquisitions, leasing, or lending.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Outstanding academic record.
• Experience in an AmLaw 100 firm or top real estate boutique preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admitted to and in good standing with the New York bar.
