Litigation Associate, Consumer Products, Mid-Level to Senior

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid-to-senior level litigation associate to join its Consumer Products practice in San Francisco, CA. The ideal candidate will have five to eight years of litigation experience, primarily representing consumer product companies in matters related to California Proposition 65 and related issues.

Duties

• Represent consumer product companies in responding to private plaintiff demand letters and government inquiries.
• Assist in litigating consumer class actions involving false advertising and regulatory non-compliance.
• Work directly with clients and opposing counsel.
• Collaborate with leaders in the field and a global team of specialists.

Requirements

• Five to eight years of litigation experience.
• Experience with FTC, NAD, FDCA, CPSC, and related issues is a plus.
• Strong research and writing skills.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to excellence.
• Membership to the California Bar or eligibility to waive in.

Education

• Law degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Membership to the California Bar.

• Comfortable interacting directly with clients.
