Job Overview

A law firm seeks a highly motivated Commercial Real Estate Finance Senior Associate or Special Counsel in Madison, NJ. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate finance and lender representation, with the ability to manage deals effectively. This role requires at least 6 years of experience in commercial mortgage finance.

Duties

• Represent lenders in the origination, purchase, sale, securitization, refinancing, and restructuring of mortgage and mezzanine loans.
• Advise lenders in complex financing arrangements with multiple layers of debt.
• Negotiate co-lender arrangements and intercreditor agreements.
• Organize, oversee, and prioritize multiple transactions simultaneously.

Requirements

• Strong analytical abilities.
• Excellent client-relation skills and comfort working with diverse clients.
• Proven ability to manage multiple transactions.
• Top academic credentials and strong interpersonal skills.
• Bar admission in the attorney's resident and/or affiliated office.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
