Job Overview:
A prominent law firm is seeking a talented and motivated Associate Attorney to join their civil litigation practice. This full-time position is ideal for an individual with 1-5 years of litigation experience, eager to take on a dynamic caseload. The firm handles a wide variety of cases, including multi-party complex litigation in both State and Federal Courts. The role offers substantial trial experience, with approximately 15 trials annually.

Duties:

• Manage a caseload with ongoing deadlines and shifting priorities.
• Oversee case development, including investigation, evaluation, and crafting trial strategies.
• Perform legal research and analyze complex legal issues.
• Attend depositions, hearings, and trials.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
• Represent clients in State Court trials.

Requirements:

• Active license to practice law in Texas.
• 1-5 years of litigation experience, with a strong focus on civil matters.
• Proven experience in trial preparation and court appearances.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Must be licensed to practice law in Texas.

Skills:

• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Ability to draft legal documents such as pleadings and motions.
• Excellent communication and client-relations skills.
• Experience in deposition and law and motion practice is preferred.
• Personal Injury experience is a plus.
