Duties:

  • Manage a high-volume docket of criminal cases from inception through resolution

  • Prepare legal motions, conduct hearings, and appear regularly in court

  • Utilize legal software platforms and client management systems efficiently

  • Navigate high-pressure situations with professionalism and discretion

  • Collaborate with internal teams while also demonstrating strong individual accountability

Requirements:

  • Active license to practice law in the State of New York

  • Minimum of 2 years of criminal defense litigation experience

  • Capable of working independently and managing multiple priorities

  • Proficient in legal research, drafting, and oral advocacy

  • Strong interpersonal communication and client management skills

  • Comfortable with regular court appearances and time-sensitive case demands

  • Eligibility to work in the United States and minimum age of 21

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited U.S. law school

Certifications:

  • Admission to the New York State Bar (required)

  • Admission to additional U.S. jurisdictions is a plus
