A law firm seeks an Estate Planning Attorney in Milwaukee with over seven years of experience. The attorney will work closely with clients and decision-makers, contributing to a high level of client service.

Duties

  • Develop and implement advanced estate planning strategies, including SLATs, GRATs, IDGTs, CLTs, and FLPs.
  • Draft wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related documents for high-net-worth clients.
  • Advise on wealth transfer strategies, estate/gift tax implications, and charitable planning.
  • Develop and execute business succession plans for family-owned businesses.
  • Collaborate with tax advisors, financial planners, and fiduciaries for integrated planning solutions.
  • Stay current on estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax law developments.
  • Represent clients in probate and trust administration matters.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior attorneys and staff.

Requirements

  • Over seven years of experience in estate planning.
  • Proficiency in drafting complex estate planning documents.
  • Strong understanding of wealth transfer and tax implications.
  • Experience in business succession planning.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Bar admission in the state of Wisconsin.
