Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Senior Leasing Attorney with a minimum of eight years' experience in commercial leasing to join its Real Estate Group. This position is available in multiple locations, including Washington, DC, Atlanta, Boston, California, Chicago, Miami, New York, Reston, and Texas.

Duties

  • Lead the drafting and negotiation of commercial leases and related agreements.
  • Supervise less experienced leasing attorneys.
  • Interact with clients, opposing counsel, property managers, and brokers.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in commercial leasing.
  • Experience with office, retail, industrial, and life science leases.
  • Substantial experience representing landlords.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD)

Certifications

  • Admitted to practice in the jurisdiction of application.

Skills

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to understand clients' business objectives.
  • Strong negotiating and analytical skills.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
