Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Mid-Level to Senior Litigation Associate specializing in Employment Litigation for its New York City, NY office. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to represent a diverse range of public and private employers in various employment litigation matters.

Duties

  • Collaborate with senior litigators to develop defense strategies for employment actions.
  • Draft and review pleadings, discovery documents, memos, briefs, and other legal correspondence.
  • Analyze employment records and represent clients in court and before administrative agencies.
  • Participate in depositions, conferences, hearings, trials, and other litigation aspects.
  • Interact with employment experts and conduct legal research and analysis.
  • Draft motions and work cooperatively with colleagues.
  • Engage with clients and maintain client relationships.

Requirements

  • Admission to practice in New York.
  • At least 3 years of experience in employment litigation.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in New York.

Skills
