Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Foreclosure Attorney in Dallas, TX, to manage a caseload of foreclosure, title, and litigation matters for banks, investors, mortgage servicers, and other creditors. The role emphasizes quality legal services, compliance, and professional responsibility.

Duties

  • Collaborate with attorneys and support staff on foreclosure procedures and documentation.
  • Review and analyze client documents, loan documents, and title searches.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Attend hearings and settlement conferences as required.
  • Communicate case statuses and developments to clients.
  • Respond promptly to communications from various stakeholders.
  • Escalate matters when necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage priorities in a high-volume environment.
  • Effective communication with legal and non-legal stakeholders.
  • Self-starter with problem-solving skills.

Education

  • J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Licensed and in good standing in California; additional state licenses are a plus.

Skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • 2-5 years of litigation experience; experience with secured creditors is a plus.
  • Knowledge of BKFS LoanSphere Default and Sagent Tempo is a plus.
  • Experience with replevins and SharePoint is a plus.
