Job Title: Foreclosure Associate Attorney

Location: Dallas, TX

Job Overview: A prominent law firm is seeking a dedicated Foreclosure Associate Attorney to join their dynamic team in Dallas, TX. This role is essential for managing the intricacies of foreclosure processes while providing exceptional legal support to clients in the financial services sector.

Duties:

  • Oversee all phases of the Non-Judicial Foreclosure process, from referral to sale.
  • Handle routine and complex litigation related to the Replevin process.
  • Manage pre-litigation cases and assist in clearing titles to real property.
  • Conduct case analysis and advise clients on strategic approaches.
  • Draft court pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Attend hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences, and make court appearances.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in creditors' rights, real estate, or mortgage servicing is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects effectively.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Quick problem identification and resolution capabilities.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
  • An active member of the Texas State Bar with compliance in licensing and continuing legal education.

Certifications:

  • Member of the Texas State Bar is required.

Skills:

  • Familiarity with foreclosure and Replevin processes is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of the rules of evidence and consumer protection statutes, such as the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, is preferred.
  • Ability to manage a large caseload efficiently.
