Job Overview:

A mid-size Dallas-based law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney with 2–4 years of experience to join its growing litigation team. This position focuses on real estate-related litigation, and the ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in drafting legal documents, discovery procedures, and familiarity with the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney to work on high-quality matters in a collaborative, client-focused environment.

Location:

  • Dallas, TX

Duties:

  • Handle litigation matters with a focus on real estate disputes

  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and correspondence

  • Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda and briefs

  • Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and depositions

  • Collaborate with legal teams on case strategy and trial preparation

  • Maintain regular communication with clients and ensure timely updates

  • Support senior attorneys and contribute to ongoing litigation management

Requirements:

  • 2–4 years of civil litigation experience

  • Familiarity with Texas Rules of Civil Procedure and state court litigation practices

  • Demonstrated success in drafting legal documents and managing discovery

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school

  • Strong academic performance preferred

Certifications:

  • Licensed and in good standing with the Texas State Bar

Skills:

  • Exceptional legal writing and oral advocacy skills

  • Strong research, analytical, and organizational abilities

  • Detail-oriented and proactive with strong follow-through

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

  • Strong interpersonal skills with a client-service mindset
