Requirements

  • 20 years of experience in patent and intellectual property law.
  • Demonstrated success managing patent portfolios and handling complex IP disputes.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. and international patent laws and procedures.
  • Excellent analytical, drafting, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and client relationships effectively.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in a technical or scientific discipline (engineering, computer science, chemistry, or related field preferred).

Certifications

  • Active license to practice law in the state of Louisiana (in good standing).
  • Registration to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) required.
