Job Overview

A prominent law firm is seeking a Corporate Associate with 2–5 years of experience to join its Corporate & Finance Practice Group. This position offers the opportunity to work on a wide variety of transactional matters, including private equity and strategic mergers and acquisitions. Location

  • Cincinnati, Ohio

Duties

  • Handle corporate transactional matters including mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures

  • Work with clients on structuring, negotiating, and drafting deal documents

  • Conduct legal due diligence for M&A transactions

  • Assist with entity formation, governance, and general corporate matters

  • Collaborate with colleagues across departments to provide comprehensive client service

  • Manage multiple matters with attention to detail and responsiveness

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in corporate law, with a focus on M&A

  • Experience with both private equity and strategic M&A transactions preferred

  • Ability to manage responsibilities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

  • Strong team player who can also take initiative and work independently

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school

  • Strong academic credentials required

Certifications

  • Admission to the bar in the state of Ohio, or eligibility to waive in
