Senior Trust & Estates Associate

Job Overview:

A well-established full-service business law firm in Hackensack, NJ, is seeking a Senior Trust & Estates Associate. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in estate planning and administration, with a strong background in tax planning and preparation. This role requires expertise in drafting estate documents and handling complex trust and estate matters.

Location:

• Hackensack, NJ

Duties:

• Handle estate planning and administration for a diverse client base.

• Draft wills, trusts, and other estate planning documents.

• Advise clients on tax-efficient strategies for wealth transfer.

• Prepare and review gift and estate tax returns.

• Conduct legal research and provide guidance on estate and tax laws.

• Represent clients in probate and estate-related matters.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in trust and estate law.

• Strong background in estate planning, estate administration, and tax law.

• Knowledge of gift and estate tax regulations.

• Ability to manage complex estate matters independently.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

• LL.M. in Taxation highly preferred.

Certifications:

• Admission to the New Jersey and New York State Bars required.

• Admission to the Florida Bar is preferred but not required.
