Job Title: Real Estate/Corporate Attorney

Job Overview:
A respected law firm based in Atlanta, GA, is seeking a mid-level attorney with a background in real estate or corporate law to advise community association clients. This role offers a dynamic opportunity to provide general corporate counsel to condominium and homeowners' associations across a wide spectrum of legal issues. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in transactional matters and a strong interest in community association law.

Duties:

  • Advise boards of directors of condominiums and homeowners’ associations on governance and day-to-day legal matters

  • Draft, revise, and interpret governing documents and corporate amendments

  • Provide counsel on covenant enforcement and Fair Housing Act compliance

  • Review, negotiate, and enforce contracts and agreements

  • Deliver legal support on nonprofit compliance and parliamentary procedure

  • Guide assessment collection efforts and intra-corporate disputes

  • Handle real estate-related legal matters for community associations

  • Assist in election-related legal issues within community organizations

Requirements:

  • Active member of the State Bar of Georgia

  • 3-6 years of legal experience in real estate closings, corporate law, or community association representation

  • Demonstrated interest in real estate or HOA law

  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills

  • Ability to manage multiple client needs in a timely, organized fashion

  • Professional demeanor with attention to detail

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Georgia Bar admission in good standing

Skills:

  • Clear and persuasive legal writing ability

  • Effective verbal communication tailored to client needs

  • Proficient in multitasking and balancing deadlines

  • The capacity to manage sensitive information with discretion

  • Knowledge of nonprofit governance is a plus
